Formal education for the poor children
DMI is running two schools (St. Joseph International Science School (kindergarten & primary) for marginalized poor children in Buru Buru and Eldoret locations in Kenya. Over 650 children are enrolled in nursery and primary education programs in Buru Buru and in Eldoret. Children learn Indigenous Language, French, Kiswahili, Mathematics, English, Religious education, Environmental activities, German, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Nutrition, Creative Arts, Pastoral/Religious program, Integrated science, Pre-tech/Business studies, Social studies, and PHE/Sports/creative arts at lower, upper primary, and junior secondary level education. There are 53 experienced and qualified teaching and non-teaching staff employed to provide quality education and care for the children and maintain a positive school environment.
